Name of apartment complex and the city in which it is located.
Le Coeur Du Monde Apts.
Travel time to school with traffic
1.10-20 mins, Easier to get to school on time by taking Dorsett to Lindberg North - then catching 70 East. This as opposed to taking 270 north to 70; 270 north is unpredictable.
2. 20-30 mins, The complex is right
off of 270. Normally takes me 20 mins. to get to school, but it has never taken
me over 30 unless there was a major accident. It is also nice that so many
other students live so close (I think 5 or 6 of us in my class live within a
mile of each other).
How far away are you from a metro-link station?
1. 10-20 mins
On a scale from 1-5 how satisified are you with your apartment complex?
1.
5 Very satisified, Beautiful complex - quiet - seemed to have more families and
professional students. Near Creve Coeur Lake
which is great
2. 20-30 mins, The complex is right off of 270. Normally takes me 20 mins. to get to school, but it has never taken me over 30 unless there was a major accident. It is also nice that so many other students live so close (I think 5 or 6 of us in my class live within a mile of each other).
How safe do you feel your apartment complex and surrounding area is? A rating of 5 is very safe whereas a rating of 1 is very unsafe.
1. 5 Very safe, Never felt unsafe in the 3 years we were there
2. 5 Very safe, This complex is a bit off of the main road right next to a subdivision. I've always felt very safe here, not only in the apartment complex, but also in the whole Maryland Heights/Creve Coeur area.
Are there any extra amenities included with you rent? Include features such as; trash, water, pool, club house, wash/dryer connections/laundry mat, exercise facilities, dishwasher, pet friendly, etc

1. 2 minutes from Schnucks,Westport, Gold's Gym, fast food restuarants, Ace hardware etc
2. Less than 5 minutes to almost anything you need (grocery, gym, convenience store, movie rental, etc.) and 15 mins. to nearest shopping mall.
Is this location conducive to studying?
1. Yes, quiet neighborhood
2. Yes, Never had any problems with noise here. Residents seem to be young professionals and single adults; not many, if any younger residents.
Do you feel like it was worth the cost to live there? (If you feel comfortable doing so, please include cost)
1. Yes, especially if you have children
2. $850 per month for one bedroom with a loft (used
for studying). My fiance and I live together so it is 425 a piece. Worth every
penny
Would you recommend this location to another student and why? Also please add any additional comments that you feel might be helpful for a new student moving to St. Louis.
1. Yes, it is pricey, but you pay the extra price to feel safe and live in a quiet environment with friendly people
2. I would definitely suggest this apartment complex to another student. I don't have any complaints...I'll be living here until I graduate from UMSL.
