Travel time to school with traffic    

    1. Usually takes 15 to 20 minutes to get to school depending on 270 and 170. Getting onto the highway is fairly easy. The neighborhood is quite. There is a QT, Walgreens, Shop and Save, and Florissant community center all nearby. Linbergh street is about one mile south, there are more fast food, grocery stores, shopping areas, etc on Linbergh.              

  2. It takes me a little over 15mins on the weekends when there is hardly any traffic on I-170, but during school it took me 25-30mins with traffic. It is a nice place to stay and you can have upto 2 pets...even two medium sized dogs    

How far away are you from a metro-link station?

On a scale from 1-5 how satisified are you with your apartment complex?

               1. 4, We have had a good experience living here. The apartments were just bought by another company and they seem to be doing a little more maintenance than the previous owners.

How safe do you feel your apartment complex and surrounding area is? A rating of 5 is very safe whereas a rating of 1 is very unsafe.

       1. 4, In three years we haven't had any problems except for my car being broken  into one night but I think that can happen anywhere in St. Louis.

  2. 4, It is pretty safe, there are a lot of old people around. It is quiet and nice. People do have parties, but most of them are on the weekends and they die down around 11 pm which is fine

 

Are there any extra amenities included with you rent? Include features such as; trash, water, pool, club house, wash/dryer connections/laundry mat,exercise facilities, dishwasher, pet friendly, etc

              1. Trash, club house, wash/dryer connections, laundry mat, some excercise equipment, 15 dollar pet fee, dishwasher.

Please comment on closeness to stores, shops, restaurants, gyms etc. (ex. I live 2 blocks away from a Schuncks and St. Louis Mills)

1. St. Louis Mills is about 5-10 min drive depending on traffic. Several restaurants    nearby (Culpeppers, Deavers,          Applebees, Chilli's, Ruiz, as well as fast food).

  2. I live less than a mile from Shop and Save and I am about a 1.5miles from US 67 and it has a lot of shops and food places.

 

Is this location conducive to studying?

           1. Yes, our apartment is but it all depends on your neighbors. It is quiet around our particular area but the complex is quite large.

Do you feel like it was worth the cost to live there? (If you feel comfortable doing so, please include cost)

                     1. We have a two bedroom two bath apartment. It cost $755 a month and we also pay a fifteen dollar a month fee for our dog. I wish it didn't cost so much but for us we wanted a place that we felt good about coming home to. Also the community center nearby is great for taking your pet for a walk and if you like to work out you can get a gym membership for a year for $85 dollars for a family. So thats a pretty good deal as well.

  2. yes. I paid $550 for a one bedroom, but a two bedroom is not much more than that and it is a great deal if you have a roommate

Would you recommend this location to another student and why? Also please add any additional comments that you feel might be helpful for a new student moving to St. Louis.

           1. I think this is a good location if you like the area of Florissant. I know some of my classmates prefered to be down by the Clayton area because that is where the night life is. For my wife and I it was a good fit for us. The area is nice and quiet and we our close to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend it.

   2. Yes. It feels like home. There is a lot of trees and Upstairs has a high celing like at home and it is very spacious.
